InstantPot Pressure (Multi) Cooker
This is hands-down the one and only appliance I wouldn’t live without. In fact, it often comes with us on holidays!
The Instant Pot has revolutionised my own kitchen, and the one of many other families’, by making pressure cooking more accessible and manageable. In fact, the Instant Pot isn’t just a pressure cooker, it’s also a slow cooker, a yoghurt maker, a rice cooker, a steamer or just a general pot for sautéing.
The ability to cook meat (from frozen also!) alone in half the time can really save dinner when you’ve forgotten to plan in advance.
When my clients buy an InstantPot for the first time and they use it consistently, they can’t stop raving about it.
Its newest version includes also an air fryer lid which is a very welcome addition

Food Processor (and Blender)
A blender already is a great start to make things like smoothies or soups easier to make, and if powerful enough it can even substitute many functions of a food processor.
But often having separate food processing tools can also be a god sent in the kitchen, to save time on all that prep and chopping.
I don’t have a brand preference here. I have used many, including a Vitamix, and we have now settled on an old Thermomix version, which we bought off eBay.
The only suggestion I would make for durability and also for safety in terms of toxicity of the materials used is to focus on processors and blenders made of glass and/or stainless steel.

Stacking Steamer Saucepan
This kitchen tool is a no brainer and possibly one of the most cost effective change/addition to any kitchen. It allows to quickly add more vegetables to your plate in a matter of 10 minutes.
Stacking different types of vegetables in more than one layer also means less washing up, so it’s a win-win.
Pair the steamed vegetables with a lovely dressing and you can make adding more vegetables to your diet easier and tastier.
There are different ways you can reproduce this stacking steamer pots set up with existing pots and pans you may already have for example by buying a steamer insert (see below) or using (Chinese style) bamboo steamers. The possibilities are endless!
